“Magnus, I really don’t think these look good,” Alec told him, tugging uncomfortably at the canary yellow jeans he’d been offered. The color was brighter than anything he had in his own closet, and he’d only tried them on for Magnus’s sake. Still, no amount of pleading from his warlock would convince him to keep these on. He wasn’t naturally a bright person, preferring his dark sweater and loose jeans to the tight clothes Jace wore or the bright colors Isabelle used to draw attention.
“Nonsense, they look lovely on you,” Magnus replied, his eyes taking in the delicious sight in front of him. The jeans sat beautifully on Alec’s slim hips, accenting the jut of his hipbones and the tightness of his abs. The bright color made the lightness of Alec’s skin all the more striking, and he had to focus on not reaching out to touch him, on keeping his hands at his side.
“I don’t know…” Alec said, unbuttoning the jeans and starting to push them down his legs. “I think I’ll just wear what I have here…”
Magnus stepped forward and rested his hands over Alec’s, meeting his gorgeous blue eyes with his own cat’s eyes. “Keep them on,” he murmured. Alec swallowed hard, his eyes darkening as his pupils dilated. Magnus watched Alec’s Adam’s apple bob as he swallowed hard and had to force back a smirk. “Please.”
Alec nodded slowly and pulled the jeans back up, buttoning them shut.
Magnus grinned and offered him a black t-shirt. “Now this.”
Alec groaned.
